Back in the old days, it was actually possible to visit every site on the Internet about Disney. Nowadays, it's not even possible to count all the sites on the Internet about Disney. I visit quite a few of them compiling the Hullabaloo, and often I find gems - digitally buried treasure - maintained by folks who love Disney so much it doesn't matter that the traffic to their sites may be a trickle. In Daily DIZcovery, I'll pick a different dynamite Disney site every day, typically one you've never heard about, and hopefully turn their trickle into a torrent.

World Famous Jungle Cruise
Skipper Brodie takes you on the ultimate Jungle Cruise
The Jungle Cruise is old-school Disney.
It's one of the few Disney attractions that depends upon a talented Cast Member to make it special. The Cast Member, of course, is cast in the role of skipper, and it's the skipper's duty not only to steer you safely past angry natives, raging rhinos, and hissing snakes, but to make it all seem ... fun!
The fun, in this case, comes from a spirited rendition of the hokey script.

The World Famous Jungle Cruise is a site skippered by Brodie Brockie, once a skipper himself on the Disney World version of the ride.
Brodie's site has everything you've ever wanted to know about the Jungle Cruise. And more! Such as Brodie's nine-part narrative about his experience as a Cast Member at Disney World, especially his time first as a trainee and then a skipper on the Jungle Cruise.
The site includes a history of the attraction, lots of videos and photos, and even a small store where you can buy clothing to advertise the site in your own daily cruises.
Unfortunately, Skipper Brodie has neglected the site for quite some time.
The only recent update appears to be a short blog post from last month about a Jr Jungle Cruise Boat available on eBay.
But it doesn't matter.
There's enough information on World Famous Jungle Cruise to satisfy your safari lust.
As Skipper Brodie might once have said: safari so goodi.
