Finding perfect Disney pictures isn't easy. The obvious places to look, such as Flickr, are awash in pictures posted by folks returning from a Disney trip. With patience, it's possible to find stunning shots, not always 'photographically flawless', but stunning for how the shooter has captured a slice of Disney, big or small, and captured it in such a way that you're inspired to do likewise the next time you're in a Disney park. Enjoy these shots of park perfection!

Perfect Spirit of America

Every Disney picture tells a Disney story, don't it, and today our perfect picture comes from Gary Burke, who has installed the red, white, and blue filter in his camera to snap a patriotic shot of the Fife & Drum Corps in the World Showcase.

On the Fourth of July, what better way to celebrate America than to spend the afternoon at Disney World, strolling through EPCOT's World Showcase to the American Adventure Pavilion, and listening to a performance by the Spirit of America Fife & Drum Corps.

These gents dress in Revolutionary Era military garb, march in formation, and play rousing martial music on flutes and drums.

The big fellow in the center holds the flag aloft, his chiseled face letting you know that if you tread on him, or even look at him the wrong way, he'll take that flagpole and...

Gary Burke's shot captures the scene perfectly.

You can see the gleam on the 'golden' buttons worn by the musicians, and if you look at this pic from just the right angle, you can almost hear a drum roll:
