The real action in Vinylmation these days is creating your own. Disney sells blank Vinylmations for you to craft into virtually anyone or anything. Thousands of these custom creations exist. Some are, well, it's best not to say what they are, but many are outstanding: often as good as what you can buy from Disney. We're rounding up the best custom Vinylmations and presenting them here, three times each week, with a word or two of commentary from their designers.

The Enchanted Tiki Drummer
The Enchanted Tiki Drummer... with Friends
The drummers in the Enchanted Tiki Room are an integral part of the show but rarely do they get the credit they deserve. The birds steal the show.
UnclePez seems to agree: his Enchanted Tiki Drummer is a cool-looking custom Vinylmation, lacking only a motor to make the little arms go up and down. And, of course, a soundtrack.
The detail on these tiki drummers is phenomenal. The 'wood' looks weathered, the teeth look toothsome, and the eyes hypnotic.

And check out those drums: they're not Vinylmation, they're clay. A tiki drummer needs his drum, and UnclePez worked with clay for the first time to fashion the little decorated drums.
The tiki heads on the drums look fantastic, too. Is that tiki Mickey on the top drum? It is - and tiki Mickey shows quite the set of tiki teeth.
If I saw rows of these drummers on a shelf in a shop near the exit to the Enchanted Tiki Room, I'd buy some for sure.
