Mickey, Maybe, in a Feature Film

Don't you love how rumors get started? Somebody says something, another body takes it and calls it a 'scoop', and pretty soon the Martians have landed. In this case, it's not Martians, it's Mickey. Let's get to the gossip.

Mickey Mouse in a feature film?

Sure! Maybe. Rumor has it...

The rumor came from Brendon Connelly, a frequent contributor to BleedingCool.com, who recently interviewed long-time Disney animator Burny Mattinson.

Burny is the supervising story artist for Disney's new film, Winnie the Pooh. Brendon expected the interview to cover Burny's work on that film, with the de rigeur stroll down memory lane, and so it does: but like any good interviewer, Brendon asked Burny about his next project.

Burny said: "I am working on just an idea of my own which is basically a Mickey, Donald, Goofy feature film idea. We have to present it first to the bosses to get the green light."

And from that the hot rumor arose about Mickey Mouse in a feature film.

Sure! Maybe...

Burny has an idea for a feature film starring Mickey, Donald, and Goofy. He hasn't shared it with his 'bosses'. (It sounds like he shared it with Brendon Connelly first!) When he shares it with his bosses, it might get the green light, it might not.

So when, inevitably, someone asks you whether you've heard about the big new Mickey Mouse feature film that Disney plans to start shooting yesterday, you'll be able to reply:

Sure! Maybe...

Don't stop there! More Tidings Await...

I think actor Colin Farrell has the chance to do his take on the character to see how Mickey Mouse first came to be if he does do it right this time you've got yourself a real Mickey Mouse feature film if the script is well written and good performed alright if that's sort it.

Just because it's a rumor doesn't necessarily mean it's not true, does it? I think it's about time we put the mouse back to work.

Oh yeah it's not a rumor it's the truth that's out there, I say Colin Farrell as a human Mickey Mouse and that's is the end of story if he doesn't make fun of him or nothing, we see what happens do you know who will play Donald and Goofy you decide.
